|THE FINAL RESULT: "Timing is everything 'Victory Limited' are victorious!"|
It had looked an odds on certainty that "A1 Construction" would become this year's champions, but in a dramatic final twist "Victory Limited" proved the old adage that 'timing is everything', as they outperformed the runaway leaders in the final round with an impressive 14% growth to pip them by just 16 points to become the Birmingham City University Enginuity 2020 Champions with a finishing score of 1,296 pts, climbing 2 places, and on reflection they fully deserved their success after being in the top three throughout, demonstrating one of the guiding principles in running a successful business, consistency.
Behind the Champions "A1 Construction" had to settle for the Runners Up spot, after a 2% decline in the final period, but they were well clear of "Kudos Construction", who dropped one place to 3rd, with "Northbridge Construction" and "Precision Construction Limited" finishing joint 4th. In the final analysis the majority of teams finished with stronger, more sustainable companies than when they took over in period 5, a testament to the skill and application shown by the management teams in what was a roller coaster of a journey through one and a quarter simulated years of management.
