Undergraduate students from the School of the Built Environment took part in their own internal Enginuity Competition as part of their modules Enterprise Management in Construction and Development (BSc Construction Project Management) and Financial Appraisal and Commercial Management (BSc Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management).
There were 10 teams competing over 8 rounds, or three simulated years, between October and November 2019.

|THE FINAL RESULT: "Timing is everything as 'Noble Construction' emerge victorious!"|
There is an old saying that timing is everything, and that was demonstrated in dramatic style in the final round as "Noble Construction" outperformed their nearest rivals with 10% growth to deservedly become the Oxford Brookes University Enginuity 2019 Champions with a finishing score of 1,589 pts at the end of period 12, coincidently the same as the winning score last year. In the end the margin of victory was decisive, over 130 points to their nearest rivals, and their success owed much to them demonstrating one of the guiding principles in running a successful business, consistency, as they had led the table for 5 of the 8 rounds.
Behind the Champions previous leaders "MARY Construction Ltd" dropped back one place to finish Runners Up, missing out on a number of key bids, and "DSW" held onto 3rd spot, as "MERIT" did to 4th. Further down the table the best performance in period 12 came from "Constructex", with an impressive 12% growth that lifted them one place in the final table, and in the final analysis all of the teams finished with stronger, more sustainable companies than when they took over in period 5, a testament to the skill and application shown by the management teams in what was a roller coaster of a journey through 2 simulated years of management.
