Period 17 saw more drama in a final with a superb 11% improvement by "Stan Movers" (Stantec, United States), the best in the round, that lifted them 3 places up the table and within just 17 points of the "The Mighty Turtles" (Parsons, United States), who refused to relinquish their lead as they moved onto 3,007 pts. The "Fanatics" (AtkinsRealis, India) and "Whatever it takes" (Stantec, Italy) both dropped back one place to 3rd and 4th respectively, and it looks like the 2024 Champions will come from the top four, but don't write off the team that led the competition going into the final, "Constructive Chaos" (Arcadis Australia Pacific, Australia), who moved back into contention as they climbed 1 place to 5th. It is going to be a very tense final round!

Unless there is a seismic turnaround in the Final Round, defending Champions Jacobs will have to hand their crown to a different sponsor this year, although all 3 of their finalists this year have performed exceptionally well, along with all the finalists. The last round is all about deciding upon effective decisions that can enable each team to finish in as high a finishing position in the final league table as possible, so the midnight oil will being burnt until the very end.
